Marsha Elaine Walker

Marsha Martin Walker, 62, passed away on October 3, 2021 at UNC Healthcare – Blue Ridge in Morganton, NC. Marsha was born in Caldwell County to Herman and Marie Martin on February 6, 1959. Marsha was married to Dale Walker for 36 years. Marsha was a faithful, loving wife. Marsha loved her church and teaching Sunday School for many years. In addition to her husband and mother, Marsha is survived by her son, David Michael Smith and her daughter, Lisa Hoyle and husband Clint. She is survived by her step-children: Sherry White, Todd Walker and wife Crystal, and Crystal Hoyle and husband Robbie. Marsha is survived by her ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Marsha leaves behind her siblings: Elizabeth Millson and husband Bill; Carroll “Sonny” Martin; Herman “Buddy” Martin; Pamela Pennell and husband Rick; Jeanneen Spears and husband Alan; Lori Moody and husband Tony; and Kevin Martin. Marsha is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. There will be a celebration of life held at Porch Chapel Missionary Methodist Church on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm, Pastor Wallace Smith will be officiating.
