Marlene Polk

Granite Falls – Marlene Duncan Polk, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Caldwell County on May 14, 1950 to the late Walter and Vannie Duncan. Marlene was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. She liked to play computer games and she was an avid reader. She spent most of her working career at Shuford Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, David Duncan and Michael Duncan. Marlene is survived by her children, Joyce Moffitt; Peggy Lambert; Sandra Gragg; Tina Willis; Dean Polk; Charles Polk; Clint Dula and Crystal Price; and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
