Mr. Mark Marvin Miller, age 65, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Amorem Hospice (Formerly Caldwell Hospice) in Hudson. Born October 25, 1956 in Caldwell County, Mark was a son of the late Cloyd and Avis Pitts Miller. Mark was a dedicated member of Cajah’s Mountain Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of First Class Express trucking company. Mark enjoyed working on cars.He was an avid baseball fan and especially enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed spending time with his Grandchildren.He will be remembered as the glue of his family.He was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Diane Miller. Survivors include three daughters, Michelle Barker (husband Travis), Martha Mullins (husband Christopher) and Shannon Sexton (husband Derek); his grandchildren, Ava Barker, Bentley Barker, Lydia Mullins, Evan Allen, Judson Marion, Wyatt Sexton, Barrett Sexton and future granddaughter, Saydee Sexton;a brother, Rex Miller (wife Diana); the second mother of his heart, Louise Beane; a nephew, Jason Miller (wife Olivia); a great niece, Vivian Vallecillo; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A graveside celebration of Mark’s life will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Sunset Hills Cemetery in Granite Falls with Pastor Doug Woody officiating. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.evansfuneralservice.com.
