Mark Holsclaw

Lenoir – Mark Steven Holsclaw, age 59, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Caldwell County on April 9, 1963 to the late Steve and Faye Holsclaw. He was married to Bonnie Noblitt Holsclaw of the residence for 40 years. Mark spent his entire work career as a mason and carpenter and also did auto body work. He enjoyed spending his spare time hunting and fishing but will be remembered most for putting his family first. Mark was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Lenoir. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Houston Holsclaw and sister, Donna Holsclaw. Other than his wife, Mark is survived by his children, Ashley Miller and husband, William; Andrew Holsclaw; and Phillip Holsclaw; sister, Evelyn Williams; granddaughter, Mykenzie Holsclaw; grandsons, Tripp Miller and Jake Boughman; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at Temple Baptist Church, Old North Road, on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Joel Bixler officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service.
