Marjorie Evelyn Craig Campbell

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Marjorie Evelyn Craig Campbell, age 80, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Carolina Rehab Center of Burke. She was born in Caldwell County on June 6, 1933 to the late Isaac Wilfong Craig and Elizabeth Shew Craig. She was married to the late Howard Garland Campbell. Mrs. Campbell retired from Broyhill Furniture Industries after 48 years of service. She was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church for 15 years and enjoyed attending the Morning Bible Class and Sunday School. After retirement she enjoyed artwork , attending to her flowers and gardening. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, David Alan Campbell. Mrs. Campbell is survived by her sons, Boyd Campbell and wife, Vicki; and Neal Campbell; .brothers, Roger Craig and wife, Mary; and Alan Craig, MD; and granddaughter, Holly Campbell. A celebration of Mrs. Campbell̢۪s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ted Williams officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
