Marise Junior Presnell

Granite Falls, NC- Mr. Marise Junior Presnell, age 86, of Granite Falls, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Camelot Nursing Center. Born May 14, 1927 in Caldwell County, Mr. Presnell was a son of the late Frank and Bertha Mundy Presnell. He was a member of Dudley Shoals Baptist Church and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Presnell was the founder and owner of Granite Appliance and Repair. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters, JoAnn Mabb, Linda Reid, Madilene Jones and Barbara Mashburn; and one brother, Buster Presnell. He is survived by his son, Edgar Marise Presnell and wife Nadine of Granite Falls; his daughter, Rebecca Ann White and husband Charles of Lenoir; three sisters, Betty Church, Hilda Teague and Delorise Johnson; four brothers, Larry Presnell, Ronald Presnell, Gary Presnell and Jimmy Presnell; 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held 6:00 PM Friday, May 17, 2013 in the Dudley Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Don Ingle officiating.
