Marie Singleton Roberts

Lenoir, NC- Marie Singleton Roberts, age 49, of Lenoir, died Monday, November 24, 2008 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born July 30, 1959 in Tacoma, Washington, Marie was a daughter of Warren Herman Singleton of Lenoir and the late Dorthy Spratling Singleton. Marie was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She was a loyal, loving mother and daughter and a wonderful, caring caregiver. Other than her father, she is survived by two sons, James Warren Minton of Lenoir; Michael Burton Roberts of Lenoir; one brother, Gary Tomas Singleton of Alabama and two special dogs, Tippy and Sassy. Other than her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Reid Roberts. A celebration of Marie?s life will be held 7:00 PM Monday, December 1, 2008 at the Wig Bank on Mulberry Street in Lenoir. The family will receive friends at the Wig Bank from 6 until 7 PM on Monday.
