Marie Bearden

Lenoir, NC – Mrs. Marie Truesdale Bearden, age 71, of Lenoir, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care in Lenoir. Mrs. Bearden was born on November 25, 1939 in Caldwell County to the late Vilas and Bessie McGee Coffey. Mrs. Bearden was a devoted Mother and Grandmother and was loved much by her family. She was also a member of the Whitnel First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Grady and Ralph Coffey. Survivors include her daughters, Gina Truesdale and Karen Fowler; three brothers, Roy Coffey, Larry Coffey, and Frank Coffey; one sister, Ruby Roberts; she is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous other relatives. A celebration of Marie’s life will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the King’s Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Stuart White officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Memorials can be made to Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
