Marie Mccall Bean

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Marie McCall Bean, age 95, of Lenoir, died Tuesday, November 18, 2008 in Camelot Manor Nursing Facility. Born July 11, 1913 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Bean was a daughter of the late John Sidney and Dixon Poe McCall and the wife of the late L.C. ?Red? Bean. Mrs. Bean was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church and former member of North Catawba Baptist Church. She was retired from the textile industry. She is survived by her son, Jim Beane and wife Joyce of Hudson; one granddaughter, Lee Ann McRary and husband Joey of Hudson and four grandsons, Keith Beane and wife Kathy of Taylorsville, Brian Beane, Kevin Beane and Mark Beane, all of Burke County. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Bean Pitts and two sons, William Leslie and Gerald Sidney. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday in the North Catawba Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend David Woods and Reverend Edd Warren officiating.
