Maria Teresa Bailey

Hudson, NC- Mrs. Maria Teresa Jambor Bailey, age 46, of Hudson, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Valdese Hospital. Born February 25, 1965 in Passaic, NJ, Maria was a daughter of Gabriella Kormann  Jambor and the late Paul Jambor, Sr. Maria was a registered nurse and a member of the Mountain Grove Baptist Church. Maria loved spending time with her family and friends.  Maria enjoyed working with horses. She enjoyed riding training them and watching her daughter ride in competitions. She also enjoyed making bracelets & necklaces, donating part of the proceeds to the Susan Komen cancer center. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Jambor, Jr. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Randy Bailey, Sr. of the home; four children, Randy Bailey, Jr., Gabrielle Bailey, Nicholas Bailey, Paige Dulla all of Hudson; one sister and brother in law, Eva Jambor Mince and her husband, John, of Springhill, FL; two brothers and sisters in law, Peter and Mary Jambor of Milford, CT, and George and Diane Jambor of Elmer, NJ; her mother and father in law, Dennis and Cookie Jawgiel; Maria was also loved and will be missed by numerous other relatives and friends. A celebration of Maria’s life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the home of Dennis and Cookie Jawgiel at 6040 Jawgiel Lane, Lenoir, NC 28645. Officiating will be Reverend Jeff Burkheimer. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Valdese Cancer Center at Valdese Hospital, sent to 2201 Sterling Street, Morganton, NC 28655, Attn: Jan Hollar.
