Margo Fox

Margo Diane Fox, age 66, of Hudson passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at her residence.She was born May 19, 1952 in Caldwell County to the late George “Buddy” Fox Sr. and Ruby Katherine Whittington Fox.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; George “Brother” Fox Jr. and Russell Henry Fox. Survivors include her two sons; Marco “Nook” Fox and Keith “B.G.” Graham of the home, sister; Bertha Tugman of Lenoir, sister-in-law; Valerie Fox of Lenoir, eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives. Ms. Fox was a member of The Life Center Mennonite Brethren Church formerly known as Bushtown Mennonite Brethren Church where she served on the kitchen committee, she was a preschool teacher at Head Start, drove a school bus for the Caldwell County School System, was a dump truck driver for the North Carolina Department of Transportation and was a Certified Nursing Assistant.She was a people’s person who was well known and loved by the community and never met a stranger.Margo will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019 at The Life Center at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Terry Hunt officiating.The family will receive friends one-hour prior from 12 noon until 1:00 P.M. at the church and other times at the home of Bertha “Princess” Tugman, 1482 Old North Road, Lenoir. Interment will follow the service at the Bushtown Community Cemetery following the service. Serving as pallbearers and flower bearers will be family and friends.
