Margie Cathleen Paul Woods

Lenoir, NC- Margie Cathleen ?Cathy? Paul Woods, age 56, of Lenoir, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends, on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born February 24, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Cathy was a daughter of the late Raymond Doyle Paul and Mrs. Jeanette Cox Beck of Lenoir. Cathy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lenoir and was a graduate of Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute?s School of Nursing. She had worked in labor and delivery and surgery and recovery at Caldwell Memorial Hospital for many years. She had also worked as a traveling nurse. Surviving other than her mother are her three children, Julie Herman Russell and husband Justin of Prairie Village, Kansas; Jamie Craig Herman and wife Angela of Jacksonville, FL; Todd Randall Woods, Jr. of Washington, DC; one brother, Randall Scott Paul and wife Peggy of Morganton; one sister, Karla Paul Woody and husband Marty of Lenoir and 4 grandchildren, Katie Lee Herman, William Craig Herman, Marin Elizabeth Li-Jie Russell and Madeleine Frances Russell. A celebration of Cathy?s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Robert Hinman officiating. A private inurnment will take place in the First Presbyterian Church Columbarium. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, one hour prior to the service at Evans Funeral Service & Crematory.
