Margie Louise Waters McGinnis passed away on April 18, 2019 at her home.Her earthly work is done. Our Father has called her home. She was born and raised in Gamewell by George Herman Waters and Sarah Louellen Cornette Waters.Margie went to school in Gamewell and also attended CCTI.She sewed for the general public at home for years.She was a seamstress and made wedding dresses, Performance costumes, drapery and most anything else.Margie had also worked at Belks, Spainhours, Times Ltd.; Fines Men’s Store and several convenience stores.In addition to her other jobs, Margie also helped with Carolina Classic Carriers, as part of her family owned business. Margie was a caregiver to her mother until she passed away.She was also a dedicated and loving mother to her only child, Sandra Rozzelle.She later acquired a son in law, Robert Rozzelle; and the love of her life, Cameron Rozzelle, her grandson; and her adopted granddaughter, Stephanie Bentley; and her companion and friend for 25 years, James Poston. She never met a stranger.She was a loving person and very down to earth She loved to laugh, dance, travel, sing and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a live wire.She will be greatly missed as she left us with broken hearts. She was our best friend.She loved God and would openly tell of his grace and mercy and loved to pray for people.She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.The biggest heartbreak was losing her brother, James Lake Waters in January of 2018.In addition to her daughter and family, she is also survived by her only surviving brother, Dale Herman Waters (wife Gwen). She died of a broken heart and pain riddled body.She is rejoicing in Heaven, she is now with her parents; her husband Bobby Fred McGinnis; her sister who passed as a still born, Rosa Lee; two brothers, Phillip and Luke; and her cousins, Mary and Alvin Waters.What a celebration.Rejoice to know she’s with our Father. Her wish would be for you to ask yourself if you die today, do you know where you are going? If you don’t find out before, then it’s too late.
