Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Margie Coffey Austin Hendrix, age 84, of Lenoir, went home to be with the Lord, May 31, 2010. Born August 18, 1925 in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Will F. and Annie Smith Coffey. Mrs. Hendrix was a member of Yadkin Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Hubert Austin and Izard Hendrix; 5 brothers, Grayson Coffey, Hillard Coffey, Mike Coffey, Ray Coffey and George Coffey and three sisters, Lucille Torrence, Sarah Moore and Lexie Watson. She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Robbins and husband Thomas Ray of Lenoir; two step-sons, David Hendrix of Johnson City, TN; Paul Hendrix of Little Rock, AR; one sister, Willie Mae Jones of Lenoir; 6 grandchildren, Daryel Church, John Church, Jason Church, Terry Robbins, Kenneth Robbins and Cheryl Brinegar and 8 great-grandchildren, Jacob Church, Reanna Church, Christopher Church, Eric Church, Hayden Robbins, Adam Robbins, Mason Brinegar and Anna Brinegar. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. ?They will be his people and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.? Revelation 20:3 and 4. Graveside services will be conducted 11:30 AM Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in the Yadkin Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Robert Livingston officiating.
