Margaret Evelyn Turner

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Margaret Evelyn Muday Turner, age 78, of Lenoir, died Friday, February 15, 2008 at her home. Born August 12, 1929 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Turner was a daughter of the late Royce and Charlotte Smith Munday and wife of Ray L. Turner of the home. Mrs. Turner was a member of Clark?s Chapel Baptist Church and was a Certified Nursing Assistant with the Shaire Center. Surviving other than her husband is her son, Michael Turner and wife Anna Lynn of Boone; her daughter, Becky Thompson and husband Joseph of Lenoir; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 children, Jeff, Kevin, Keith and Kandace and one grandchild, Kenny. A celebration of Mrs. Turner?s life will be held 3:00 PM Monday, February 18, 2008 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Service of Lenoir with Reverend Sam Craven officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM Monday, one hour prior to the service at Evans Funeral Service.
