Margaret Ruth "Patsy" Jensen

Margaret Ruth “Patsy”  (Moore) Martin Jensen of Statesville, North Carolina, formerly of Lenoir, passed away March 19, 2024 at Springs at Catawba, Hickory, NC after complications of dementia. Margaret was born in Blowing Rock, NC to the late Ralph James Moore and Lottie Murl Coffey Moore Hensley.

Margaret is preceded in death by husband, Niels Jensen, daughter, Debbie Martin, son, Jackie Martin, first husband Jack Martin, brothers, Kenneth, Desmond, Gerald, Collis and Jay Moore.

Margaret is survived by daughters, Sheila Myroon (Ron) of Alberta, Canada and Judy Billings (Jeff) of Statesville, NC and daughter-in-law, Amparo Osario Martin of Lenoir, NC. Also survived by her brother Teddy Moore (Linda) of Blandon, PA and sister Betty Jean Smoot of Ashland, VA and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret is also survived by grandchildren, Leslie Martin (Scott), Wendy Hollifield (Jeff), Erica Terry, Matthew Martin (Angie), and David Valencia (Maria) and eleven great-grandchildren, Sam, Steven, Spencer, Cierra, Macey, Alisza, Lanna, Phoenix, Sofia, Ariana and Viviana.

A Graveside Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 1:00PM with a receiving of friends 30 minutes prior.

The family would like to thank the staff at Springs at Catawba, Hickory, NC and Hickory Hospice for their loving care given to their mother.
