Margaret (Cleo) Clark

Margaret (Cleo) Clark, age 88, of Hudson, passed away February 22, 2019 at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center. After contracting polio at a very young age, she enjoyed a full life with her family and friends. She was the daughter of the late George Thomas Reid and Hattie Mae Coffey Reid.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Hoke Clark; brothers, Harold Reid, Perry Reid, Sam Reid, Boyd Reid, Jack Reid; and sisters, Pearl Reid McRary, Hazel Reid Keller, and Shirley Reid Winter. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Becky Clark of Hudson and her son, Bobby Clark and wife Tammy also of Hudson.Grandchildren, David Clark (wife Anna), Tamara Cook (husband Doug), Richie Minton (wife Johnna), and Krista Church (husband Michael); great-granchildren, Pyper and Aerial Carlisle, Malachi Church, Graham Minton, Ryder and Beau Clark.She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank all the wonderful caregivers from UNC Healthcare (Lenoir) and from Brian Center Hickory and also friends and family that have take care of our mother. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ebenezer United Methodist Church on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 4:00 PM conducted by Rev. Tom Hunter.The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 pm prior to the service at the church.Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
