Margaret Elaine Bruner

Lenoir, NC - Margaret Elaine Humphrey Bruner (FiFi), age 63, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. She was born November 7, 1948 in Washington County, TN to the late Joseph W. and Lonie Huffman Humphrey. She was also the adopted daughter of the late Julius Edwin Humphrey and Kathleen Bower Humphrey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dolas Eugene Bruner and her son, Howard Scott Bruner. She is survived by three sons, David Eugene Bruner and his fiancée, Lydia Ashley Vance of Oak Ridge, TN; James Edwin Bruner of Hickory and his fiancée, Caroline Esch also of Hickory; and Randy Eugene Bruner and wife, Loretta Bruner of Baltimore, MD; two close friends, Carolyn Turvey and Jodie Nazaroff; and numerous nieces and nephews. She had worked at Harper Furniture for 28 years and Vantage Foods for two years. She was also a member of Crossroads Community Church and a member of Lenoir Amateur Radio Club, call sign KI4QYA. She loved to say ?see you later alligator.? A celebration of Ms.Bruner?s life will be held at Crossroads Community Church on Wednesday, February, 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rick Bowman officiating.
