Margaret Munday Bolick

Granite Falls, NC- Mrs. Margaret Laurel Munday Bolick, age 88, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care. Mrs. Bolick was born in Caldwell County on January 19, 1923 to the late Arthur Munday and Bertha Honeycutt Munday. She was married to the late Ray A. Bolick for more than 50 years. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Sadie Harris; and her brothers, Roy, Ward and Plez Munday. She is survived by her sons, Michael Bolick and wife, Elaine of Morganton; Ray Allen Bolick and wife, Rebecca of Banner Elk; sister, Alma Munday Smith of Hudson; grandchildren, Brett Bolick and wife, Ashley of Charlotte; Ryan Bolick and wife, Kruti of Atlanta, GA; Tracy, Melanie, and Jennifer Bolick, Ben Hollifield; and great-grandchildren, Kinsey, Ethan, Maven, Savannah, Will, Rae, Phoebe, and B.J. A celebration of Mrs. Bolick̢۪s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 30, 2011 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Dan Brubaker officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Mt. Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
