Marc Davis

Lenoir- Marcus Gywn Davis “Chubby”, age 60, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Marc was born in Caldwell County on March 2, 1959 to Mabel Greene Davis and the late Andy Davis. He was married to Tonya Barlowe Davis of the residence for 32 years. Marc loved the outdoors, riding his Harley, camping and kayaking. His friends will always remember and miss his wonderful smile and his generosity. He liked to help others whenever he had the opportunity. Marc’s favorite saying was that “if you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours”. Marc was referred to as the “littlest” brother by his sister Judy and brother, Mike. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Marc will be held at Tabernacle Advent Christian Church, 1522 Wildwood Road, Lenoir, on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 12:00 PM with Reverend Bob Copeland officiating. Inurnment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 prior to the service.
