Maggie Helton

Maggie Helton Hudson - Maggie Harris Helton with home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday July 18, 2015 at Hickory Falls Nursing Home in Granite Falls, NC.She was born in Caldwell County on July 4, 1934.She was the daughter of John and Essie Harris. Mrs. Helton was a child care provider for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Lorraine Pope and granddaughter Vicki Ann Helton. Mrs. Helton is survived by her loving husband, Boyd Wayne Helton of the home.She is also survived by two sons, Rickie W. Helton and Paul D. Helton and one daughter Ginger H Eagle and their spouses. Mrs. Helton is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and numerous children who stayed in her daycare that considered her their “Mawmaw Maggie” over the years. The family will receive friends and family in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 7:00 PM and the funeral will immediately follow.
