Magdalene Setzer Mcdonald

Magdalene Setzer McDonald, age 98 of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at her residence.

Magdalene was born on July 4, 1925 to the late Frank and Edna Setzer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Blain McDonald, her sister Rosalee Bussel and her brother Junior “Jim” William Setzer.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Lillie McDonald Spears and husband Lowell Spears, son Walter “Buddy” Blain McDonald and wife Brenda McDonald, grandsons, John McDonald and wife Donna, Tim McDonald and wife Elechia, and great-grandchildren Rylee McDonald and Dylan Pruitt.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM with Pastor Gary Lawrence and Pastor Steve Parker officiating.
