Mack Albert Church

Mack Albert Church was born in Wilkesboro NC on August 26, 1944. Mack passed to his heavenly home on the morning of February 10, 2025.

Mack was a resident of memory care at Springs of Catawba in Hickory.  Mack is survived by his children, Mack "Tony" Church and daughter in law Thuy of Hickory and daughter Tammy Church and spouse Sandra Forsyth of Jacksonville, FL.  He is also survived by brothers Vernon, of Hudson, Junior of Hiddenite and sister, Jane of Columbia SC.

Mack enjoyed life on the road as a semi-trailer driver for over 30 years. When time allowed he enjoyed camping in his RV in the North Carolina Mountains and attending car shows.  His favorite place to visit on vacation was Las Vegas, where he was always sure he would hit it big!   He also enjoyed traveling to Alaska on two occasions. While in Alaska he took a once in a lifetime helicopter adventure to the Mendenhall Glacier and a sea plane into the Fjiords.

Mack was preceded in death by parents Banner and Annie of Wilkesboro and brothers Jimmy and Kenneth.

A celebration of Macks life will be held at a later date and time.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the  crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on the day and not only to me, but also to all  who have longed for his appearing"
