Lucy Crisp Lenoir - Lucy Clark Crisp had a long and blessed life.She passed quietly Thursday evening at the age of 95 at Trinity Ridge in Hickory.She was born March 13, 1923, in Caldwell County.Lucy was the only daughter of Dolphus Harlan (Hard) & Flossie Lee Clark. Mrs. Crisp was a long-time member of Berea Advent Christian Church in Collettsville. In additions to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Joseph Crisp; and brothers, Terry, Bill, Jack, Dover, Ted, Buster, and Bobby.Mrs. Crisp was also preceded in death by a son-in-law Colon Bean and grandson, Joey Bean. Mrs. Crisp is survived by daughter Claudia Bean of Lenoir, Linda Canipe and husband Sam of Lenoir; brothers, Benny Clark and wife Wanda of Hudson, Rudy Clark of Lenoir, three grandchildren, Marjorie Little and husband Eddie of Lenoir, Greg Cook and wife Amy of Hudson, and Lori Wade and husband Andrew from Centreville, Virginia, as well as great grandchildren Hunter Cook and wife Morgan of Granite Falls, and Jake Cook from Charlotte, numerous nieces and nephews,as well other relatives. Mrs.Crisp’s funeral will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service onSunday, January 20, 2019 at 2:30 PM with family receiving friends 30 minutes prior to the service.The family will have a private burial following the service at the family cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Berea Advent Christian Church in Collettsville.Evans Funeral Services is serving the Crisp family.
