Lovell Presnell

Lenoir- Mrs. Lovell Oaks Presnell, age 84, got her heavenly wings on Thursday, February 11, 2021. She was born in Watauga County on July 7, 1936 to the late Howard and Anna Ward Oaks. Mrs. Presnell was a member of Beech Valley Baptist Church in the Beech Creek Community of Watauga County. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Lee Presnell and Hoover Presnell; brothers, Joe Oaks and Chester Oaks; sisters, Virginia Neighbors; Betty Oaks and Reba Barnes; and grandson, Ronnie Barnes, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Barnes and husband, Ronnie; grandson, Travis Barnes and wife, Amanda; great-grandchildren, Aleigha Barnes and Tyler Barnes; brothers, Clint Oaks; Reid Oaks; sisters, Clarice Barnes and Mary Lynn Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Caldwell Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
