Louise Nichols

Louise Postell Nichols, of Lenoir, went home to be with her Lord on July 3, 2020 at Lenoir Healthcare. She was born on December 15, 1934 in Caldwell County to the late Harry Blaine and Rosalie Haas Postell. Louise began her career in telecommunications at Southern Bell until retiring at AT&T. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her sisters, Opal Russell and Joy Parson, and her brother, Clay Postell. Louise is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and various other beloved family members. Louise leaves behind her testimony of being born again and being ready to meet her Lord. There will be a graveside service held at Bethel Advent Christian Church Cemetery on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 3:00 pm officiated by Rev. Larry Winebarger. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street NW, Lenoir, NC 28645 or sent to Samaritan’s Purse at P.O. Box 3000 Boone, NC 28607.
