Ms. LouAnne Kincaid, born on September 18, 1962, passed away on Sunday, March 24th after a short illness at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was surrounded by family and her lifelong friends. LouAnne passed very peacefully into the arms of Jesus. She was of the Baptist faith. LouAnne was the daughter of Troyal and Mary Kincaid. In addition to her father, LouAnne was preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Burl Southard and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Fritz Kincaid, as well as an aunt, JoAnne Bolick and uncles, Wayne Kincaid and Junior Southard. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her Mom; brother, Jim Kincaid; aunts, Juanita Greene, Gloria Southard and Juanella Coffey and Charles; uncle, Donald Kincaid and Syretha. LouAnne is also survived by many cousins that she adored. She will be greatly missed by all of her Caldwell County office co-workers especially Eric Stafford and supervisor Stan Kiser. Additionally, LouAnne will be missed by several lifelong friends. She leaves behind her beloved chocolate lab, River, and a horse, Molly, that she helped deliver. Her friends Julie, Patty, Sherry, Karen, and Aunt Juanita spent Saturday afternoon with her prior to her passing.They were blessed to have this time to share many special memories. LouAnne loved her time at Sunset Beach, the lake, and Thanksgiving dinner at Jeff and Pinky’s. She will be remembered for having many talents that included growing the most beautiful roses, singing, and playing musical instruments. One thing she didn’t like was a cruise that she went on just after high school. Throughout the years LouAnne was asked many times to go on another cruise, but she answered each offer without hesitation saying, “absolutely not.” Wherever she worked, she made a lot of friends and always strived for the highest standards. Her dream job was with the Offices of Caldwell County.She loved all aspects of her work including the programs on the government channel, talking to the press, and simply just being involved with people in the community. The family would like to thank the staff at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Cecil, along with all of the doctors and nurses there, gave LouAnne excellent care and attention. Likewise, the loving care shared with Louanne at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center was extremely special and will always be remembered. A receiving of friends will be at Evans Funeral Home and Crematory, Sunday, March 31st from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm followed by a memorial service with Pastor Doug Price officiating.Interment will follow the service at Littlejohn’s Methodist Church in Gamewell. With consideration to her deep love for animals, the family requests that memorials be sent to Caldwell County Animal Control at 829 Fairview Dr. SW. Lenoir, NC 28645.
