Lonnie Anderson Robbins

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Lonnie Anderson Robbins, age 86, of Lenoir, died Friday, April 13, 2007 at her home. Born October 28, 1920 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Robbins was the wife of the late Charlie Clyde Robbins and the daughter of the late Joe Anderson, Sr. and Coleen McGinnis Anderson. Mrs. Robbins was a member of First Advent Christian Church in Lenoir, and retired from Bell South where she was a member of the Bell South Pioneers. She was a graduate of Happy Valley High School where she was Miss Happy Valley and played basketball. Mrs. Robbins is survived by her son, Travis Robbins and wife Peggy of Bluffton, SC; her daughter, Patsy R. Mitchell and Rick Kallstrom of Lenoir; two grandsons, Kevin R. Carswell and wife Deanie of Lenoir; Travis J. (Rip) Robbins, Jr. of Granite Falls; one great-granddaughter, Bethany N. Carswell of Boone; and two great-grandsons, Brandon D. Carswell and Hunter J. Carswell both of Lenoir. A celebration of Mrs. Robbins? life will be held 1:00 PM Monday, April 16, 2007 at First Advent Christian Church with Reverend Bobby Hodges and Reverend Don Ingle officiating. Burial will follow in Belleview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 until 1:00, prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home of Patsy R. Mitchell, 926 Plantation Drive, in Lenoir.
