Lois Elizabeth Maness

Lenoir, NC – Mrs. Lois Elizabeth Eller Maness, age 82, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at Caldwell UNC Health Care in Lenoir.Born July 19, 1932 in Burke County, Mrs. Maness was a daughter of the late Robert and Bessie Mae Clontz Eller and the wife of the late William Carl Maness, Jr. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edward Eller and a great-granddaughter, Victoria. She is survived by her three children, Bruce Maness and wife Victoria of Lenoir; Debra Maness Baggs and husband Edward of Concord; Steven Maness and wife Patti of Lenoir; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mrs. Maness’ life will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2014 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Dr. David Roberts officiating.Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at Evans Funeral Service. The family respectfully requests memorials be made to: Susan G.
