Lois Harris Hensley

Granite Falls- Mrs. Lois Harris Hensley, age 69, of Granite Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care in Hudson. Born January 10, 1942, Lois was a daughter of the late Sol and Lena Penland Harris. She had worked many years as a nurse and was a member of the Clover Baptist Church. Lois enjoyed the activities at her church and listening to music. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Jimmie Hensley of the Home; one son and daughter in law, Michael & Susan Hensley of Lenoir; two grandchildren, Leigh Hensley and Megan Hensley of Lenoir; she is also survived by one sister, two brothers, and numerous other relatives. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.
