Lenoir, NC- Miss. Lois Elizabeth Coffey, of Lenoir, died Monday, December 15, 2008 at the Grand Villa Manor. Born October 4, 1925 in Caldwell County, Lois was a daughter of the late Finley Houck and Effie Turnmire Coffey. Lois had worked many years at Shadowline Hosiery and was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by three sisters, Blanche McGee, Irene Hartley, and Colene Coffey; and also five brothers, Vilace Coffey, Clyde Coffey, Lloyd Coffey, Hal Coffey, and Cloyd Coffey. Miss Coffey is survived by three nephews, Roy and Mildred Coffey of Lenoir, Larry and Nancy Coffey of Lenoir, and Frank and Pam Coffey of Granite Falls; she is also survived by two nieces, Marie Bearden of Lenoir, and Ruby Roberts of Lenoir; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Antioch Baptist Church with Reverend Randy Gibson officiating. Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association at P.O.
