Lloyd Eric Cornett

Mr. Lloyd Eric Cornett, age 47, of Granite Falls, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Sunset Beach, NC. Born February 8, 1974 in Catawba County, Lloyd was the son of Lloyd Ray and Wanda Keller Cornett.Lloyd loved working and was an assistant supervisor at Huntington House.He also worked there as the upholster trainer.He was an excellent carpenter.He was an avid hunter and fisherman.What he will be remembered most for is the love he had for his family and helping others.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of 26 years, Teia Watson Cornett; his children, Makaylia Cornett Ritch (husband J.T.), Landon Cornett (fiancé Gracie White), Katana Cornett; his grandchildren, Breelan Cornett Ritch and Maddox Ritch; two sisters, Lora Vance and Tabitha Cornett; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Lloyd’s life will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Wayne White officiating.
