Lisa Lura Bush

Granite Falls, NC- Ms. Lisa Lura Watson Bush, age 56, of Granite Falls, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care in Hudson. Born December 16, 1954, Lisa was a daughter of Elder Gene and Pansy Anderson Watson. Lisa had worked at the News Topic and also at the Lowe’s Home Improvement store. She was a member of the Hollow Springs Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Leonard and Jessie Anderson; and her paternal grandparents, Theodore & Jenny Watson. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Carroll McLoud; two sisters and brothers in law, Revonda & Carson Swanson, and Rebecca & Al White; a brother and sister in law, Randy & Cathy Watson; her nieces & nephews, Melinda & Randy Summerlin, Jason Swanson, Bailey Watson, and Emilee & Dalton Summerlin; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A  celebration of Lisa’s  life will be held 3:00 PM on Friday, May 20, 2011 at the Hollow Springs Primitive Baptist Church with Elder John Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Todd McLoud, David Colvard, Wes Kirby, Tom Ritch, Denny Bucsek, Bob Suddreth. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 PM, prior to the service at the church.
