Granite Falls, NC- Mrs. Linda Triplett, age 65, of Granite Falls, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital. Born August 2, 1943 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Triplett was a daughter of the late Thomas Carl and Hazel Eugenia Coffey Jones and the wife of Dee W. Triplett of the home.Mrs. Triplett was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church and had worked for Kohler and Campbell in Granite Falls. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Thomas Jones, John Jones, Bill Jones and Douglas Jones. Other than her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Tammy Triplett Teague of Granite Falls; 2 sisters, Margaret Triplett and husband R.L. and Peggy McCall, all of Granite Falls and two brothers, Paul E. Jones and wife Martha and Arthur Lee Jones and wife Maggie, all of Lenoir. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Blue Ridge Memorial Park with Reverend Edd Warren officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 until 1:45 PM at Evans Funeral Service in Lenoir. Pallbearers will be: Charles Smith, Jimmy Bounous, Mike Hollar, Stan Kale, Mark Potter, Jeff Pope, Neal Craig, Caleb Craig, Marcus Potter, Scott Walker, Paul Jones and Colby Bounous.
