Linda Edmisten Sparks

Hudson- Linda Edmisten Sparks, age 48, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. She was born in Caldwell County May 8, 1966 and attended Hibriten High School. She was married to Casey Sparks of the residence. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Lois St. John Moore and her brothers, Terry Lee Watson and Jimmy Edmisten. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Adam Ford Richardson; daughter, Kasey Lynn Sparks; sisters, Patsy Hamby and husband, Dwight; Kathy Miller; Marrianne Shew and husband, Larry; Jamie Edmisten Hawley and husband, Jason; Lisa Sparks and husband, Michael; brothers, Bill Edmisten and wife, Carolyn; Larry Edmisten and wife, Joan; granddaughters, Brooklyn Isabella Richardson and LiLynn Rayne DeBoard. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at Zack’s Fork Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 21, 2014at 4:00 PM with Pastor Chad Baldwin officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Edmisten, Larry Edmisten, Ralph Kirby, Butch Prestwood, Dustin Bradshaw and Dylan Moretz. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 prior to the service.
