Linda Eller

Linda Hollars Eller, age 79, met her heavenly Father on Father’s Day, June 16, 2024 at Watauga Medical Center. She was born in Caldwell County on December 26, 1944 to the late Thomas Hollars and Ruby Yates Shipman.

She was a faithful Christian woman who loved her grandkids. Her main priorities in life were her grandkids, great-grandkids and attending her church, First Independent Baptist Church in Blowing Rock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Hollars, and her step-father, Euitt Shipman.

Linda is survived by her son, Mikeal Coffey and wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Mikeal Coffey; Jacob Coffey and wife, Ashley; Dustin Shew; Lauren Carswell; Jaime Stringini and husband, Caleb; eight great-grandchildren; and her aunt, Shirley Bumgarner.

A memorial service celebrating Linda’s life will be held at First Independent Baptist Church on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Gary Shew officiating.
