Linda D. Dean

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Linda D. Dean, age 57, of Lenoir, died Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born September 19, 1953 in Wise County, Virginia, Mrs. Dean was a daughter of the late Ervin Thurman and Emma Lea Sexton Wireman and the wife of Glen Dean of the home. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Crystal Wireman, Roberta Wireman and one brother, Roger Merle Wireman. A Godly woman, loving wife, mother and grandmother, Linda was an active member of Harrisburg Baptist Church where she was an active prayer warrior and worked with VBS. She had worked as a manager for both Hardees and Arby’s. Other than her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Glenna Arnett and fiancée, Everette Little of Lenoir; one son, Telly Edward Dean and wife Tara of Lenoir; 4 sisters, Haroldine Stanley and husband Charlie of Coeburn, VA; Judy Back and husband John of Hazard, KY; Lois Jean Wireman of Coeburn, VA; Beverly Simmons of Tacoma, VA; 4 brothers, Eddie Wireman of Coeburn, VA; Ricky Wireman of Coeburn, VA; Gregory Wireman of Coeburn, VA; Shannon Wireman and wife Christy of Dungannon, VA and 4 grandchildren, Amber Lynn Arnett; Amilya “Mia” Paralee Dean; Logan Mikeal Coffee and Meagan Chandler. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Harrisburg Baptist Church with Reverend Ted Williams and Reverend Mark Crump officiating. The body will lie in state from 10:30 until 11:00.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, October 11, 2010 from 6:30 until 8:30 at Evans Funeral Service & Crematory of Lenoir. Pallbearers will be: Luther Forte, William Ray Dean, Everette Little, John Crozier, Charlie Dean, Johnny Vance and David Barger.
