Linda Presswood Dale

Morganton, NC ? Linda Presswood Dale, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Watauga County on August 16, 1950 to the late Dayton Presswood and Lucille Braswell Poteet. She was married to the late Dean Dale. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by her brother, Roger Presswood and step-father, Oliver Poteet. She is survived by her children, Christie Mackie of Charlotte; Neena Bowman of Morganton; Ian Bowman of Drexel; three sisters, Barbara Leadingham; Pat Helms and Kathy Turbyfill; grandchildren, Brittiany, Kristian, Parker, Alex and Aiden; and one great-grandchild, Brennan. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service.
