Linda Kay Barber

Linda Kay Barber, age 75, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on June 3, 2023.

Linda was born on October 3, 1947 to the late Jason Gibson and Fannie Eckard Gibson Beard.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Gibson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Barry Joe Barber; sons, Stephen Winkler (wife, Kendra), Scott Winkler (wife, Susan); stepson, Joey Barber; stepdaughters, Jamie Harwood, Kim Smith (husband, Chris); sister, Christine Brown; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bumgarner (husband, Nick), Jacob Winkler (wife, Carrie), Alysia Wilson (husband, Nick), Darrin Moose (wife, Megan), Brayden Winkler; step grandchildren, Spencer Smith, Adam Smith, Kali Harwood, Benjamine Harwood, Grayson Barber; great grandchildren, Paisley Bumgarner, Charlotte Bumgarner, Landon Winkler, Emmie Moose, Nash Moose; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Hudson, NC on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 4:00PM. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall.
