Lillian M. Lawrence

Lillian M. Lawrence, age 75, of Hudson, passed away peacefully Monday, April 25, 2022 at Hickory Falls Rehabilitation Center.She was born March 12, 1947 in Caldwell County to the late Thomas Wayne McGuire and Alice Crotts McGuire.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred and Jimmy. Survivors include her daughter, Sheryl Brown and husband David; grandchildren, Dustin Brown and wife Victoria, Seth Brown; one great-granddaughter, Maci Brown; sister, Elizabeth Ann Beck; brother, Tommy McGuire; special niece, Pam Brown and husband Chris; great-nieces, Kaitlyn Brown and Taylor Brown; great-nephew, Peyton Brown; several close friends and neighbors. Lillian retired as a CNA from Broughton Hospital after 30 years where she received a Letter of Commendation for excellent service.She was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord with all her heart.She was whole heartedly devoted to her family and grandchildren.She expressed great appreciation to all those around her that offered help in recent years. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM at North Catawba Baptist Church conducted by Pastor David Brown.The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
