Lewis Ricky Hester

Lewis Ricky Hester, age 55, of Lenoir, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care – Robbins Center.He was born January 27, 1964 in Carter County, TN to the late Lewis Willard Hester and Melba Dugger Smith of Lenoir.In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Lee Hester. Survivors include his children, Melanie Hightower and husband Travis, Crystal Bumgarner and husband Brian, Thomas Humpal, Adam Hester and wife Jennifer, and Megan West and husband Newland; grandchildren, Zac Bumgarner, Marissa Bumgarner, Kyleigh Hester, Jalynn Hightower, Emma Hester, Maverick Lipford, Levi Hester, Alley West, and William Church; two sisters, Gloria Messer and husband Russell and Kathy Moore and husband John; and one brother, David Hester and wife Wendy. Ricky enjoyed life.Some of his favorite activities included fixing machines, fishing, bowling, woodworking, and most importantly spending time with family. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Evans Funeral Service.
