Letha Marie Snodgrass

Hickory, NC- Letha Marie Snodgrass, age 17, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Frye Regional Medical Center. She was born in Sullivan County, TN on February 21, 1995 to Billy Joe Snodgrass, Jr. and Vanessa Penley Snodgrass. Letha was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Lenoir where she was active in both the music and youth ministry. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Cecil Monroe Penley and her uncle, John Frederick Penley. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Billy Joe Snodgrass, Sr. and Peggy Sue Snodgrass; maternal grandmother, Anna Joy Penley; brother, Billy Joe Snodgrass III; sister, Anna LaShay Dulaney and husband, Robert; niece, McKenzie Hope Dulaney; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A celebration of Letha̢۪s life will be held at Temple Baptist Church, 1306 NW Old North Road, Lenoir, NC 28645, on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Joel Bixler officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Temple Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service at the church.
