Larry Frederick Schultz

Fort Walton Beach, FL- Mr. Larry Frederick Schultz, age 64, formerly of Lenoir, died Friday, March 9, 2007 in the Fort Walton Medical Center. Born January 24, 1943 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Mr. Schultz was a son of the late LaVerne L. and Racine Kruger Schultz and the husband of Rebecca ?Becky? Ames Schultz of the home. Mr. Schultz was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He had worked in the insurance industry for many years and had served as a funeral assistant with Evans Funeral Service of Lenoir. He was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Eau Claire Memorial High School and the Aerospace Defense Command Noncommissioned Officer Academy in December 1978. Surviving other than his wife are two sons, Kenan Schultz and wife Judy of TX; Lenley Schultz and wife Sandy of FL; two daughters, Misty Schultz and husband Chris of Kansas; Tara Nelson and husband Randy of Kansas; 1 sister, Shirley Ortiz and husband Santos of WI; two brothers, Virgil Schultz and wife Stephanie of MD; LaVerne Schultz and wife Sharon of Arizona; and 7 grandchildren, Shanna, Cassandra, Katrina, Nathaan, R.J., Becky and G. Tyler. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gregory A. Schultz and his brother, Gregory K. Schultz. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Monday, March 12, 2007 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Lenoir with Pastor Roger Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 PM Monday, prior to the service at the church.
