Lenoir, NC- Mr. Larry Holman, age 62, entered the wonderful Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday morning, July 8, 2012 after his long fight of Multiple Sclerosis for 30 years. He was surrounded by his loving family at his bedside. He touched upon the lives of the many people he met and was an inspiration all. Mr. Holman was born July 17, 1949 in Boone, NC to the late Bynum and Goldie Watson Holman. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lettie (Patsy) Trivette Holman of the home. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Dianne Cress and husband, Jack of Mountain City, TN; brother, Danny Holman and wife, Linda of Deep Gap; aunt and uncle, Sylivia and Kermit Eller; mother-in-law, Mary Trivette of Banner Elk; sister-in-law, Peggy Trivette of Banner Elk; special friends, Karen and Preston Laws; nieces and nephews; and many other close friends that stood by him over the years. A celebration of Mr. Holman’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 3:00 PM with Reverend Doug St. John and Reverend Mark Moody officiating.
