Larry Dean Helton

Larry Dean Helton of Lenoir, passed away on Sunday June 9, 2024 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson.

Larry was born January 21, 1954 to the late Theodore and Erma Helton.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his sister, Paralee Craig; and brother, Roger Helton.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Linda Helton; sons, Bryan Helton (Shannon), Scott Helton (Cristal); grandchildren, Skylar, Dylan, Zack, Bryanna, Jayden, Cade, Derek; great-children, Anzley, Wesley, Finley, Brody, Everly; brother, Harold Helton; sisters, Irene Brown, Lori Anne Crump; in-laws, Bobby and Debbie which he loved to pick with, and numerous nieces and nephews that Larry adored.

Larry was a faithful member of Community Baptist Church.  He loved his church family.  Larry enjoyed older model cars in which he met many friends that enjoyed the same hobby.  He was a perfect husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

A service will be held to celebrate Larry’s life on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Evans Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Pastors Waitsel Beard and Doug Howell.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Service.

Serving as pallbearers are Dylan Watson, Zack Helton, Cade Watson, Derek Helton, Matt Helton, and Bobby Robbins.
