Mr. Landon Justin Jarvis, age 35, of Lenoir, was welcomed with open arms to his heavenly home by his Savior, Jesus Christ and his mother on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. Born March 1, 1983 in Buncombe County, Landon was the son of the late Larry and Robin Silver Jarvis. Landon was a devoted and affectionate father to his twin girls, Elyn Claire and Finley Quinn.He was a marvelous friend and brother to many. So many people loved Landon because he so freely gave love away.He took pride in his job at UPS and loved his work family.Landon was a life long, avid outdoorsman.He was a member of Buffalo Cove Baptist Church.In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a grandmother, Gladys Silver; a cousin, Trey Silver. In addition to his girls, he is also survived by the mother of his children, Whitney Herman Jarvis; an aunt, Lissa Silver; two uncles, Johnnie (Buster) Silver and Jeff Silver; his cousins, Hawk McElreath and Rok McElreath; a nephew, Logan Jarvis.Numerous other family members also survive Landon.As Landon would say, “Blood doesn’t have much to do with family.” A memorial service celebrating Landon’s life will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Lenoir Community Church with Pastor Jim Phillips and Pastor Raymond Spann officiating.
