Lenoir, NC ? Mr. Kevin Dale Day, age 58 of Lenoir, passed away at Frye Regional Medical Center on April 10, 2010. Mr. Day was born February 1, 1952 in Caldwell County to the late Reverend Ralen Day and Margaret Pritchard Day of Lenoir. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Karen Smith and great-niece, Kara Chandler. He is survived by three brothers, Melvin Day and wife Becky of Lenoir; Larry Day and wife Tammy of Lenoir; and Kenneth Day of Lenoir; nieces, Amy Harris of Lenoir, Alicia Chandler of Granite Falls; and Lori Annas of Lenoir; nephews, Chris Day and Jake Day of Lenoir; one great-nephew, Ryan Annas of Lenoir; and two great-nieces, Haley Coffey of Lenoir, and Cressinda Chandler of Granite Falls. A funeral service will be held for Mr. Day on Monday, April 12, 2010, 3:00 P.M., at Worship Point Baptist Church with Randy Gibson, Kenneth Shew, and Ron Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:00 P.M. on Monday, prior to the service at Worship Point Baptist Church. Pallbearers for the service will be Andy Day, Jeff Day, Chris Day, and Jake Day. Jerry Smith will serve as honorary pallbearer.
