Lenoir – Ken Brown, 69, of Lenoir passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson, NC. Ken was born in Iowa to the late Ernest Brown and Joyce Danger on November 27, 1950. Ken proudly served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He retired from a long career as a truck driver. Ken was a loving brother, uncle, and friend that will be missed dearly. Ken made many friends throughout his life, and never met a stranger. In addition to his parents, Ken is preceded in death by his sister Beverly Christopher; his brother Donald Brown; and his niece Heather Smith. Ken is survived by his sister Linda Smith and Mark Danger and brother Ron Brown and wife Janet. He is survived by his nephews Steven Christopher and family; Phillip Christopher and family; Billy Cannon and family; and Ryan Brown. Ken is survived by his girlfriend, Denise Teague of Taylorsville and nieces Janelle Droegmiller and family; Jennifer Bentley and Amanda Littlejohn. Ken leaves behind numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Ken is alsosurvived by his beloved animals. A memorial service for Ken will be held at Three Forks Baptist Church, Taylorsville, NC. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Carson Mosely officiating. The graveside service will be at Northside Baptist Church Cemetery, Granite Falls, NC following the memorial service. Pastor Howard Michaels and Pastor Lance Main will officiate. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post 392 of Hudson with Commander Lorenzo Kelly.
