Kelly Cowick

Lenoir – Kelly Glenn Cowick, age 30, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born in Caldwell County on March 29, 1986. He was a 2004 graduate of West Caldwell High School and attended Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. Kelly was an avid outdoorsman and could often be found at Wilson’s Creek enjoying fishing, swimming and just hanging out with his friends. He also loved to hunt and was an incredibly gifted artist. Kelly is survived by his mother, Angela McGuire Cowick; father, Terry Cowick and step-mother, Paula Cowick; grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Sides and Shirley Killian; sisters, Mackenzie Hartley and Summer Cowick; brothers, Preston Greer and Terry Cowick, II; and many other family members. A memorial service for Kelly will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 5:30 PM. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:30 prior to the service.
