Katie Sessoms Suttle, 67, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care.She was born February 23, 1953 in Richmond County to the late William Walker Sessoms, Sr. and Katie Mary Eddins.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Suttle, Jr.; brother, William Walker Sessoms, Jr; and sister, Alice Eddins. Survivors include a son, Claude “Kenneth” Price and fiancé Chasity Penley; a daughter, Tammy Bentley and husband Chris; five grandchildren, Michael Price, Madison Clark, Tony Dewey, Chris Dewey, and Jason Bentley; five great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Virginia Reid and husband Dale and Jennie Lowery. Katie was blessed with a large family that will miss her dearly.She was married to her husband, Thomas Suttle, Jr. for over 30 years before he passed away in 2012.She was a loving wife, mother, memaw, sister, and friend to all who knew her.
